Tito’s Handmade Vodka Arts Exchange Presents: A Sight, Movement, & Sound Festival: 8-BIT ART AND TECHNOLOGY FEATURING VISUAL WORKS, CHIP-TUNE-MUSIC, AND LIVE PERFORMANCES FROM TEXAS AND NEW YORK ARTISTS.
There is a unique creative movement happening in Austin, and we are so fortunate to be right in the middle of it. Tito himself has long been a supporter and promoter of the arts of all disciplines, so this Arts Exchange was a natural extension of those things that are so important to him. For the first time ever, Tito will be using his resources to directly support and promote an arts program that seeks to foster the creative spirit in Austin and throughout the country.
The BLUE THEATRE Artists Residency helps partner an emerging playwright(s) in mentoring relationships with a local theatre companies. After having been submitted for consideration, and selected through a need and resources process, the visiting playwright(s) mentor the theatre companies honing their craftsmanship through meetings, staged-readings, workshops and performance while forming a personal and trusted relationship of support. Other artistic disciplines are quickly infused in the creative process through cross-media and performance, film screenings, live art installations and exhibits, music and dance creating a hive of artistic activity.
