ABOUT 2009-2012 Resident Playwright, Directors & Plays
WHAT WE ARE: Multi Arts Collective Lab bringing together artists working in a wide array of disciplines to inspire and impel a generation of new works. Since the Blue Theatre inception in 2000, Resident Artists have created collaborative, cross-disciplinary productions.
- 2010 Blue Theatre Mainstage Production presented in collaboration with the Getalong Gang Performance Group
2007/2008 marked the beginnings of our artistic ambitions to enhance the expanding arts community in Austin, while maintaining our dedication to the creation of new works of art and performance.
2009/2010, our commitment to nurturing the long-range development of artists continued through our writer development and artists exchange programs; along with our fully-staged Mainstage Productions.
Since the launch of our Collaborative Mentoring Artists Exchange Program in 2008/2009; along with the generous support and partnership of the 2010/2012 Tito’s Arts Exchange Program, over 200 artists, sponsors and volunteers have now participated in the programming.
